Your Retreat

 

Your morning will begin with an invigorating power yoga practice led by Jasmina Egeler on the spectacular rooftop terrace overlooking the sea, followed by a delicious breakfast at The Ledge.

After breakfast, you will have plenty of free time to relax at the pool, beach or spa before winding down your afternoon with a slower moving and more mindful practice.  

Evenings will be spent exploring parts of Los Cabos and enjoying some of the finest cuisine in Mexico.  

For those interested in discovering more of Los Cabos on your own, Movement Travel will also help arrange tours and experiences.  

Like all Movement Travel retreats, all activities are optional so you can choose to do as much or as little as you want.

These are just some of the themes that guide Jasmina’s practice and teaching.  She encourages a balance of play, discipline and studied wisdom; supporting students to tap into their curious nature and explore their true potential. Jasmina offers a challenging class to students at all levels through core strengthening, flowing vinyasa and the breath (and maybe even a handstand or two….).

Jasmina is also part of the YYoga faculty as a senior teacher trainer in Vancouver and has mentored many aspiring yoga instructors in her community.

  1. Day 1 Saturday

    Guest Check-in anytime after 3:00 pm

    5:00 – 6:15 pm:  Beach Yoga & Meditation – Get your body moving after your flight before settling into a sweet meditation to quiet your mind and ease you into the next 4-nights of your wellness retreat (weather permitting). 

    6:15 – 7:30 pm:  Free time.

    7:30 – 9:30 pm:  Meet your fellow retreat guests with drinks at the hotel.

  2. Day 2 Sunday

    8:00 am – 9:30 am:  Power YogaEnjoy the fresh sea air and sweeping views of the sea while quieting the fluctuations of your mind during this sweaty and challenging practice.  

    9:30 am- 10:30 am:  Breakfast at The Ledge.

    10:30 am – 3:30 pm:  Free time.

    3:30 pm – 5:00 pm:  Yoga & Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Meditation – Slow down and move under a shaded outdoor terrace to the unique and beautiful sounds created by a local duo.  Then deeply relax and release with a live crystal singing bowl sound bath.    

    5:00 pm – 6:30 pm:  Free time.

    6:30 pm – 7:30 pm:  Stroll Cabo San Lucas.

    7:30 pm – 9:30 pm:  Dinner in Cabo San Lucas.

  3. Day 3 Monday

    8:00 am – 9:30 am:  Power YogaEnjoy the fresh sea air and sweeping views of the sea while quieting the fluctuations of your mind during this sweaty and challenging practice.  

    9:30 am- 10:30 am:  Breakfast at The Ledge.

    10:30 am – 3:30 pm:  Free time.

    3:30 pm – 4:30 pm:  Yoga & Meditation After a day in the sun, move a little slower, still your mind and savor the moment as you enjoy a practice on a shaded outdoor terrace.  

    4:30 pm – 5:30 pm:  Free time.

    5:30 pm – 7:30 pm:  Visit San Jose Del Cabo Viejo (old town).

    7:30 pm – 9:30 pm:  Dinner at a hillside farm.

     

  4. Day 4 Tuesday

    8:00 am – 9:30 am:  Power YogaEnjoy the fresh sea air and sweeping views of the sea while quieting the fluctuations of your mind during this sweaty and challenging practice.  

    9:30 am- 10:30 am:  Breakfast at The Ledge.

    10:30 am – 4:00 pm:  Free time.

    4:00 pm – 5:15 pm:  Yoga & Meditation After your final day in Los Cabos, notice the changes that have taken root in your mind and body during this slow afternoon flow and meditation.  

    7:00 pm – 9:00 pm:  Dinner at the hotel.

  5. Day 5 Wednesday

    8:00 am – 9:30 am:  Power Yoga Move, sweat and enjoy your last practice of the retreat.  You will feel and look amazing after taking the time to unplug and nurture your mind and body these last 4-nights!

    From the Pacific Ocean to the Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos and the surrounding area is a surfers paradise. The sandy bottoms and gentle rolling waves are perfect for beginners, with faster and more powerful breaks available for advanced surfers. We can help you arrange equipment rentals and lessons.

    Cooking Class
    Learn how to cook tradition Mexican dishes in a beautiful outdoor setting, then sit down and enjoying your delicious creations afterwards.  This unforgettable experience will teach you how to make home-made tortillas, use a traditional molcajete to mix fresh guacamole and create a mouth-watering pico de gallo while sipping a refreshing margarita. 

    Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
    Spend a day in the tranquil East Cape visiting Cabo Plumo National Marine Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site and home to oldest of three living coral reefs remaining on the west coast of North America. Estimated to be over 20,000 years old, the reef is teaming with colourful marine life. It is an incredible experience to watch schools of thousands of tropical fish swim beneath you in their natural habitat.

    Golfing
    Of the top 15 golf courses in Mexico, 7 of them are in the golfer’s paradise of Los Cabos. The remarkable terrain is comparable to that found on the courses of Arizona or the Californian desert, and comes with sweeping views of the sparkling Sea of Cortez.  Retreat guests receive 10% discount off Cabo del Sol golf courses.
