TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ADVERTISING RETREATS ON MOVEMENT TRAVEL’S WEBSITE

Rules & Requirements

Advertising your Retreat on Movement Travel’s website is voluntary and the Retreat advertisement will include the following information: 

  1. Single image

  2. Retreat title 

  3. Destination city & country 

  4. Retreat dates 

  5. Your name or your company’s name 

  6. Hyperlink to your website Retreat advertisement 

If you would like to advertise your Retreat on our website, the below requirements must be met: 

  1. The Retreat is confirmed and has a guaranteed departure date. Solicitations of interest for a potential future Retreat will not be accepted.

  2. The $350 +HST deposit to engage our Retreat Booking Services has been paid and the Retreat Leader Questionnaire has been completed. 

  3. The Retreat advertisement on your website must always comply with TICO advertising standards. 

  4. You must provide Movement Travel with the following images:
    a) One profile photo (headshot only)
    b) One company logo (if applicable)
    c) Three to five images for each Retreat

Movement Travel reserves the right to not advertise or remove your Retreat from our website at any time, without notice, reason, or consent from you.

At any time, you may request in writing to have your Retreat removed from our website and your Retreat will be deleted within 10 business days of the date your request was received by us. In the event your Retreat sells out, it will remain on our website with “SOLD OUT” added to the advertisement. All Retreat advertisements will be removed from our website on the start date of the Retreat. 

User Content Guidelines

  1. Images should be in jpg or png format cropped to a square 1:1 ratio with a maximum file size of 500 KB.

  2. Images must be your own and you must own the rights to this content. Royalty-free images from sites such as Unsplash, iStock, and Shutterstock or images provided by travel suppliers like Retreat venues, will NOT be accepted. 

  3. No images shall have recognizable faces except for your own face. 

  4. No images shall include works of art, trademarks, logos, brands, or authorship of others, unless it is yours and you own the rights to this content. 

  5. Content must represent the actual destination, retreat venue, or experience(s) provided during the Retreat. Misleading images are strictly prohibited.

Grant of License & Usage Rights

  1. You grant LM Movement Travel Ltd. ("Movement Travel") a non-exclusive, worldwide copyright, and royalty-free license to download, copy, modify, distribute, host, store, transfer, display, adapt, perform, and reproduce your content (in whole or in part), including for commercial purposes, for sole use on our website, and through any media channels (now known or hereafter developed) related to our website, without payment or any other consideration or permission from or attributing you or the photographer. This license extends to any third parties contracted by Movement Travel to design, develop, or modify our website. Additionally, you hereby waive any right to royalties or other compensation from us arising from or related to the use of your images on our website. 

  2. To be consistent with our Movement Travel brand, you understand that your content may be edited and modified by us and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product.  Further, if none of the Retreat images provided are suitable, your profile photo or company logo will be used instead.  If we deem none of your content to be suitable or consistent with our brand, we reserve the right to replace it with content of our own. 

  3. Movement Travel agrees not sell your content or upload it to any third-party websites.   

Representations, Warranties & Release 

You represent and warrant to us that: 

  1. You are the creator and owner of the content or have all necessary rights from others, including but not limited to individuals, photographers, companies and travel suppliers (including Retreat venues), to use, and permit other users to use, the images you have provided to us. 

  2. Your content does not and will not infringe or misappropriate any third party right, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, rights of publicity, or moral rights, or slander, defame, or libel anyone.  In other words, your content must be your original work, and you must have the permission of any third parties that have rights in the content. 

  3. You agree to defend and indemnify Movement Travel, including our directors, officers, employees, consultants, affiliates, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your violation of  copyright or any law or regulation; (ii) your violation of anyone’s rights, including intellectual property rights; or (iii) any disputes between you and a third party.
