Stanley Park Seawall

Stanley Park's stunning 9 km seawall offers magnificent ocean and mountain views.  Breathe in the fresh sea air as you walk, jog or bike along this world-famous path.  Take a detour and explore one of the many trails inside park as you snake through the majestic, old, growth forest.
 

Snowshoeing the North Shore Mountains

Experience the serenity of the North Shore mountains as you snowshoe in the crisp, alpine air.  Located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, this unique winter activity is the perfect way to take a break from the city and quiet the mind.
 

Granville Island Market

This vibrant public market at the mouth of False Creek is a terrific place to spend the day.  Take an aquabus from Sunset Beach and explore the farmers' market, local art galleries and quaint eateries.
 

Hiking

Vancouver's North Shore mountains are a hikers' paradise.  From West Vancouver to Deep Cove, there's an endless supply of trails suitable for every level of hiker.  Ascend a steeper trail and be rewarded with magnificent views or enjoy quietude as you wander through the famous rainforests of the Pacific Northwest.
